Children's Law Center of Los Angeles

Children's Law Center sponsors a variety of special events and programs that directly assist the foster children we represent, engage the community to become involved with the foster care system, and help raise public awareness about foster care issues.

A focal point of outreach is the annual Los Angeles Foster Care Awareness Campaign held during National Foster Care Month in May. Highlights in past years include the Education Summit, Foster Care Heroes and Success Stories, Pregnant and Parenting Teens Convening, Pediatric "Grand Rounds," Faith-Based Community Outreach, and other activities aimed at energizing the public to "Change the Life of a Foster Child."
